So You're Anti-democracy?
Come on Tom the choices are the will of the majority, the will of the ruthless, or the rule of the haves. I think history is obvious which is preferable. The BS bitching about lesser issues to excuse major abuses doesn't fly. No one is ever completely happy in a democracy or any other form of governmment. Any concentration of power has potential for abuse even democratic government. The difference between it and all else is feedback and input from the general population. We've voted in a lot of dumb laws in our history, but we do usually correct them and learn something. The abuse of power in undemocratic forms has a far longer and more disagreeable record..
