As long as Saddam can be deterred and contained, I see no clear and present danger to the US. This is the tack we have taken to legitimize this war to the world, and it ain't working because its flase. I'll simply state that here, and rely on my other posts in this thread to back it (not gonna retype everything).
As long as we can't get even a small portion of the world to back us with popular sentiment, this is a really dumb thing for our country to do- and to hell with France, I don't care about them
My pipe dream is to declare open season on every dictator/'kingdom' in the world and take them down. That ain't gonna happen. We are going to protect some tyrants like Kuait and Saudi Arabia while we go to war against others.... Sad
