"Oppressing? Saudi Arabia has one of the highest standards of living of any nation. "Spoiling" *might* be a better term. As for the "hateful wahabai schooling" there definitely seems to be serious problems in this area- but painting it with such as broad brush is probably due to ignorance. "

The 'citizens' of Saudi Arabia enjoy a very positive life with much wealth and eductaion opprotunities. The non-citzen class lives better than most contries in the region, true, but they are very oppressed in the sense that they have no political vesting, no power, and are usually treated as servants by the Saud clan they serve.

In fact, they can literally klilld on a whim by a Saud and nothing much will happen.

Additionally, their only shot at education is in a wahabai school.

While it is true that they would not be in Saudi Arabia or Kuait, we would still, nevertheless have troops in a core arab country just around the bend from mecca and othe holy sites.

And, with the absolute lack of UN and NATO assistance and support, it is the case that they would be American troops... That is, unless we want to tourn things over to the turks... (not advisable)
