Thank you Davin for taking the time to put together your thoughts about this impending "war" and for taking on the conservatives over here. I agree with you.
Bush's "Texas-style" justice about "protecting America" is a great sound byte, but I agree we'll lose our moral high ground. And if we become lawless and arrogant and pushy, then there's no-one around to stop anyone else from forcing themselves into another country.
North Korea, China, Russia, Pakistan, India.....all nuclear powers.
Who's to say they won't challenge us in some way, or some one else.....and then what?
No time for months of deliberation, eh?
Oh, this is a big crap shoot allright.
Everyone thinks we'll just get Sadam and it will be quick and clean cut.
I say it could become an unmitigated disaster with one international crisis after another, and with no-one in our court to back us up.
Nope, we can cross our fingers and pray in silence that this won't go any further.
But the world is a tinderbox right now, and there are a few more leaders around that are just as gung-ho.
God help us all.
