Good sources, and yes, I am aware of the data in them. If we want to debate this war on the basis that Saddam is a brutal nazi bastard, you will get less resistance from me. Plus, war will end the sanctions which Saddam is using to oppress and kill his own people.

The problem is that the justifications we are tryting to sell this war on are FALSE. There is no clear and present danger to America.

Larry:

"Saddam also has a long track record of lying about his weapons programs to the UN."

Again, I don't disagree. But we can't use his UN to justify this, as the UN doesn;t want this. He hass and is building WMD, agreed (Sans the nukes, I don't think there is good evidence for that... Not that he wouldn't- he has tried, he just can't pull it off right now)

Larry:
"as for knowing the origins of a terrorist attack, tell me, who mailed those anthrax letters to Daschel and others over a year ago? To date, there hasn't been any arrests in that case. Sometimes, it's a lot harder to find the culprit than shows like CSI make out. "

Nobody knows, not really- If someone does they don't have the evidence to state it openly. Yes, terrorism is hard to trace and attribute, and its impossible to effectively make the case that Iraq is in cahoots with Al-Qaida.

Regarding CSI:
Don't watch it, I'm more of Law&Order type of guy.

BTW, Larry, Thank you for bringing facts and reasoned argument to the table.
