And I guess I'm psychotic. A nation can have a madman for a leader, but if it has no real power, it's not a real threat. If a nation has huge power, and a moron for a leader, and people that think he's a genius, that's dangerous.
As far as responsibility goes - real responsibility goes beyond one's own life and looks at the global picture. If the world dies, the US, no matter how rich and powerful, will die with it.
