Is they are full of caca.
You ask about Malthus. Rememebr this: Malthus was wrong.
Just like the club of Rome, et al.
We cannot physically run out of 'all resources'.
We may run out of resources easy with today's tech, or cheap resources. We may kill off a lot of biodiversity and environment, but we cannot run out of the resources of this planet. We have barely scratched the surface.
Literally.
The earth has nearly exactly the same amount of resources today it had a billion years ago. Except for a miniscule tonnage of space craft that have left orbit.
And that may be heavily outweighed by the weight of space debris raining down on us daily over time.
So the statement is null.
Again, what is the guy trying to say?
