My original post:
I estimate a good eighty percent of the current environmental movement is in service of an agenda to place all human economic activity--and eventually all activity--under a rigid and all-powerful central authority. Run, no doubt, by the same enlightened folks in charge of the environmental movement.
I stand solidly behind this statement, although since my number is a guess, I would go ten to fifteen percent either way. Upon rereading it, though, I would clarify it as "LEADERSHIP of the current environmental movement" i.e. the movers, shakers, and employees of the leading environmental groups. Not the little old ladies who send in their checks every year to save the pandas.
And anyone here is welcome to prove me wrong.
