A parable: a guy I know once had a buddy leave an old car at his place after a party. Despite repeated requests, the buddy never picked up his car. The guy decided to get even - he went out, drained all the oil out of the car, put a rock on the gas pedal, and started it. He figured it would blow up in a few minutes.
Two hours later, it finally stopped - when it ran out of gas.
Do I have to explain the moral?
