We ARE nature.

We don't go around regulating the behavior of ants or rabbits why should humans be any different? Is the desire to control others a lingering remnant of the leader of the pack instinct which compels us to regulate and control our fellow humans?

"Only the human animal can blush - or needs to." -Mark Twain

In fact to try and stifle corporate expansion and capitalist human endeavor may actually be considered "unnatural" and an affront to the evolutionary work that has been accomplished so far.

Sometimes I wonder why so many forget we are animals too. Clearly one needs but look around this world to see we are not as evolved as we might like to think.

Our evolution here is no accident - we are the specific byproduct of countless millennias' evolution and increased intelligence.

Something for Fox to think about:

The coal age and the "burning" of everything in sight helped bring us to the nuclear age. In essence our consumption has a method to the madness. As we evolve and our technology increases, our former resources often become obsolete. The coal & kerosene era took us to the nuclear electric era. Who knows what the nuclear era is destined to take man to?

Retrogression just isn't in the human spirit. We don't want to dismantle our industries, take sledgehammers to our cars and crawl in a cave to live a "long" life of forty years.

We are mastering chemistry, inventing new alloys and chemicals. The drive for a better life makes it all possible - and yes, that better life is often delivered via money through a capitalist system. Yes the drive for a better life can include a drive for cleaner air, pure water and more lush vegetation. As the market demand for this increases - the market will invent, create jobs and provide the impetus to bring about these changes.

There's a definite reason why "expedited mail" in Canada takes four weeks to deliver while "US Priority mail" takes three days.
