If you don't mean a thing, then don't use the language

It seems we don't have jurisdiction, except when we do. We don't have intelligence, except when we do. We don't have responsibility, except when we do. You sound like a Presidential press conference.

Use the language of justice, and be bound by it.

If justice is not what you're talking about, then don't use the language.
