That's a cop out

Robert referred to it as a ruinous bill (the term "bill" implying financial ruin) and I clearly stated that the relative merits of each thing are excluded. The fact that one thing saves lives and the other costs lives is obvious but does not alter the fact that if one is financially ruinous so must be the other.
