Does anyone here have basic principles?
Based on most of what I see at current events I see a bunch of mush head partisans who couldn't build a position based on basic principles to save their life. Most positions are based on party platforms that ignore the real worlds tendency to blur lines between black and white. The only way to negotiate the moral dilemas that result is to have basic core beliefs of what is right and wrong and apply those to adapt the more generalistic principles embodied in most political agendas. Even worse are those simply out to tear down the other party without regard to what's best for the country or the world.
