Sometimes you've got to push people's buttons to get them to take action.

Bush's "You are with US or against US" comment was a gentle wake up call to those who in the past have winked at the activities of terrorist states like Iraq, Iran, Libia, North Korea, etc... while those terrorist states ploted, funded, and recruited terrorists to their failed cause.

If Europeans are offended by the statement Bush made, then maybe they need to do some self-reflection on just what role they have played in supporting the interests of terrorist states rather than immediatly assuming that Bush is out to get them.

Personally, I think the statement was aimed more at Saudi Arabia and Pakistan than at Europe--But if Europe feels threatened by it, then so be it. The message clearly achived its desired effect: Cages were rattled all over the world, and a re-alignment of the world order was begun.

And whether Europe wants to admit it or not... Bush was correct, and with Afganistan and Iraq on the path to Democracy and peace: The world is a better place today than it was on 9/11.
