It seems to invite soundbites only. My brain doesn't work that way.

The Jewish tradition produced 10 big, easy-to-understand commandments, which have in turn produced 4,000 years of commentary and qualification, and two daughter religions. Guiding principles are complex creatures.

I'm looking for a suitable poem. :)
