Fox is a Federalist, he can pose with the left but his heart of hearts his true position always aligns itself with what's in the best interests of the human condition and unfortunately for him he realizes, probably more often than he would like, that the left's positions are often contradictory to his own views.*
*Naturally, I don't want to speak for Fox but that's my 5 cent insta-analysis. ;-)
I will gladly own and wear the Federalist badge - as long as it is understood that it comes from admiring and agreeing with John Adams (who, btw, also loathed political parties), and not from Alexander Hamilton, the first American Machiavelli.
It should come as no surprise that what I consider to be "what's in the best interests of the human condition" aligns the left with me more often than not... and I appreciate their company.
