Think about it, Raoul. If a friend of yours said, "Either you are with me, or you are against me", to a group, and you were already at his side, how would you feel?

You might think the statement was a little over the top, but then you're already with him, so it really wouldn't matter.

If there were people in the group who already considered your friend to be their friend as well, well, they probably wouldn't think it was so bad either.

What if you were in the group, though, and the speaker was already no friend of yours?

I do think it was a little over the top, but I also know that it pointed out where are true friends stand, and there really aren't that many. Freedom is a powerful thing, and it frightens the crap out of many national leaders.

Personally, I expect nothing but hardship where the Middle East is concerned, because it is demanded that we be there, that we leave there, that we do something, and that we don't. Well, I think we'll just keep on doing our best, and if the ROW doesn't like it -- hard cheese.
