Complaining about the use of proper terminology is absurd

If the claims are correct, Kerry had a self-inflicted wound. It wasn't intentional, but self-inflicted none the less. What was she supposed to say, "Kerry had a boo-boo?" You and Mary Anne are falling victim of political correctness. That's bullshit.

As for her book about internment, I've only seen snippets of her arguments. Her research claims that there was evidence of espionage in the Japanese-American community. She also points out that, contrary to what many claim, Italians and Germans were also interned. Her claim is that racial profiling isn't always wrong. Since she is Asian herself (or perhaps more accurately, a Pacific-Islander Filipina), it's hard to accuse her of being racist against Asians.

A good friend of mine was put into one of those camps in 1942 with his family. He was 2 years old. Regardless of whatever evidence she may have, I have a problem with putting tottlers into internment camps.
