or is Miller another one of those politicians that gets his news only from Fox? Larry, I'm sorry but I wish we had more interviewers willing to interrupt politicians when they don't get the direct answers to the questions they asked. This pandering to people that evade questions is one of the reasons we're in the mess we're in today. I see the evasiveness from both parties so don't go labeling me here as some form of hypocrite. I enjoy seeing someone like Miller grilled about his hypocrisy as much as I'd love to see Ted Kennedy skewered.

What I think we're seeing in Zell Miller is this natural trend for people, as they get older, to become more conservate and often downright mean and greedy. I know nothing about the man's earlier life and political convictions but I can assume, since he was a Democrat, that his platform was built around social causes and diversity. The ogre I saw on stage seemed to have none of those qualities now. Doubt I'd want that man as a neighbor. Why in the hell would you come to his defense?
