Transcript

MATTHEWS: No. No one has every accused him of shooting himself on purpose.

MALKIN: Yes. Some of them say that.

MATTHEWS: Tell me where that...

MALKIN: Self-inflicted wounds—in February, 1969.

Larry:
Eyewitness accounts indicate that Kerry was nicked by a fragment from a grenade that he'd fired too close to himself. If true, that's a self-inflicted wound. Period, end of story.

Do you have a reading problem? The transcript repeatedly shows she was insinuating that Kerry shot himself ON PURPOSE for a medal. End of story. To try and say that she didn't shows incredible partisan dishonesty. Your use of the term is correct, SHE is the weasel trying to suggest that they were intentionally self inflicted.

She KNEW that the topic was going to be raised in the first part of her interview, and she admits it- Frankly, Larry all your arguments have collapsed into dust.
