re: WTF are you braying about?

When it's just MA's comment it's her own opinion. That's fine. When it get's put as on the user guide as some weird sort of HZ "customer testimonial" it becomes anti-bloggist.

If I wanted an audience and more control, I suppose I could start a blog. But I would have to have a lot more belief in the importance of my opinion on its own, as opposed to my voice as a thread in the tapestry of conversation. We all add unique color and substance, but the cloth is made of us all.

Who the heck here doesn't value their "opinion on its own?" Or that their opinion only has worth in "tapestry of conversation?" That's fine for MA to believe that (though I seriously doubt she does) and to post that, but when Robert shifted it to the user guide it becomes some sort of a bizarre customer testimonial which diminishes the individual in favor of the collective.

When a newcomer would read that it makes the HZ appear to be some group communal posting for insecure folks:

"Hi. My names Joe...and I have no value of my opinion on its own."

"Hi Joe! Join the HZ."

When removed from MA's post and used as a HZ user testimonial it also becomes anti-blog. It's hard to read it any other way: "HZ is community and therefore is better than blogs."

To make it real clear..MA wasn't blog bashing. But when Robert moved it the user guide that's exactly how it reads.

But hey, I'm not expecting you to betray your "side" so go ahead and pull an et or an RL and flame away! Make sure you do your flaming communally though! Individual flames are not wanted here. They must be part of a "tapestry."

LMAO!
