What was your position on the cause of "gayness"? Now you have me curious. I have some radical ideas there as well that often raise the hackles on my more liberal friends.

Basically, it's been my observations that gay or bi guys in particular fall into two or three groups:

1. Those that are genetically predisposed and have no choice. They seem to have rather normal frequencies of sexual activity, except with people of their own sex. Sex lives are about as private as their hetero counterparts. Very non-threatening group.

2. Sex addicts. Why limit yourself to half the holes in the world? Girls are much more complicated, want love and get pregnant too easily. Their frequency of sex is that of porn stars. If a knothole of a tree looks particularly exciting...why not? Often the more flagrant of the bunch.

3. Guys that want girls but the girls don't want them. They have features that women don't find sexually attractive - weak chins, bad builds, extreme shyness or strange voices. They feel left out in sex and find it where they can. Often this group hangs with the 2nd group because the sex is easy to find there.

Now this isn't a putdown of any group but I believe that the most flagrant gays create many of their own image problems and hurt the more innocuous bunch. Obviously there's extreme prejudice still in the world and maybe some of the antics are warranted as a release of frustration and a form of venting.

The women are a bit more complicated although there are some similarities. It's harder for me to stay objective in analyzing them because I think I was a lesbian in a former life. lol
