yep! possibly worse in Sydney and the cities though .. I believe there is a strong RURAL tradition here of good powerful wife/husband teams, where they have had to work really hard to keep the farm going under sometimes very difficult circumstances. There is a real city/country divide here, one could be talking about 2 different worlds to some extent
(my parents grew up in semi-rural environments, and as time goes by I hope to end up in a similar situation. I really do prefer the land to the concrete & glass antfarms .. and with the internet, isolation is no longer such a big factor)
