The only true fix for SS

Is to replace it.
Either SS will eat us alive or we will replace it.
A defined benefit plan has a structural imbalance between who carries the risk and who reaps the benefit. SS is the ultimate defined benefit plan. It only works so far because it confiscates the earnings from such a large pool.
