Entrepreneurs and businessmen routinely add immense value to our civilization by their activities, and the Left routinely proposes stripping them of their wealth and property as a reward.
How does the typical leftist see Bill Gates, who has probably done more for human productivity than most other living people?
How does the typical leftist see anyone who has been productive, provided a need, increased the living standards of America, and gotten rich doing it?
Kill him and eat him. In the case of the death tax, in that order.
Nice "payback."
I love how the word "society" is used to somehow mush us all into one great redistributive lump. Avoids the messy details of who's on the giving end, who's on the receiving end, and most importantly, who gets to pass the cash around and gain political power doing it.
"Society" should pay people back for what they've provided sounds a lot better than "those who have money should have it taken from them so 'society' can give it to those who don't." Hmmmm...starting to narrow down exactly who "society" is.
The idea that one owns what one has earned has always stuck in the craw of the Left, and they have gone to great effort to try and redefine things to get away from this idea. The word "society" also shows up a lot in these efforts.
You also show a complete misunderstanding of the relationship between money and value, which is also not that surprising.

"Society owes them?" You really want to go there?
