I thought about having a little fun with our post, riffing on the distinctly good-news/bad-news flavor of your list of "accomplishments" of the Bush Regime. Like how the bad news behind our Mighty Military Machine is why we need it to protect us from all the people Dubya's pissed off. Or how SorbOx was a reaction to scandals in the Republican's Big Business heart. DHS and Katrina. I could go on and on!
But I have to ask why you're bothering to defend Dubya. Your admiration for his "accomplishments" won't restore the confidence of the American people. Bush has been banished to the Siberia of American politics, and he ain't comin' home. Best you come to terms with that and move on.
Read my reply to McFly. Will you pledge allegiance to the center? Or go down with the sinking partisan ship?
