Nice try...

Hmmm, had we not invaded Iraq... do I think terrorists would be sitting in front of the TV? Stupid question, the answer is "Of course Not!"... but since you like these asinine alternate universe arguments, let us play your silly little game...

In this alternate universe...

1) We would have hundreds of thousands of more troops available to use as leverage against serious threats like Iran and North Korea...

2) We would still have the post 9-11 goodwill and willing support of our allies

3) We could present intelligence to the world to support any military action we decided was needed without being laughed off...

4) We would have hundreds of billions to spend hunting terrorists and and incresing security

5) 2300+ more US soldiers would not have died in Iraq

6) We would not have the deaths of 30,000+ Iraqis on our hands.

7) Maybe we would have caught Bin Laden

8) We would not be responsible for the swelling of the ranks of terrorists...

9) We wouldn't have created a brand new terrorist training ground.

10) We would be viewed as Great power that uses its invincible force wisely to Obliterate those that DARE attack us (The taliban)... instead of being viewed as a reckless power that invades without justification... or lies about the justification...

How is that Tom?! You think those possibilities are unreasonable for your alternate universe?
