I deserve to gloat now, and I intend to. It's not just Bush who was wrong, it's all his supporters too.

Yes, I agree. You were right and I was wrong. I used to support Bush. I didn't understand who he was and what his administration was capable of. Now that the truth is visible, I have no grounds at all to ask you not to gloat.

Don't be too surprised, though, if some of us interpret that attitude as an invitation to stay away from the Democratic Party. Why would we show up, after all, if we're not welcome, or if the best we could hope for is to be lower caste participants?
