Equilibrium.

In Iraq such compensation is sorely needed. Over here, some changes are needed.

I would support the total elimination of social security and the implementation of low income medical insurance, food assistance and similar expenditures to compensate. Place the money and services where it is needed most and eliminate pork elsewhere.

All our hospitals forced to serve illegals, if redirected, could handle much of the senior needs.

Socialized medicine is fine if you have choice. And not just a choice for the patients - but participation choices for the doctors, hospitals and insurance companies too.

A safety net - not a bloated beached whale.

And I would support SOME small tax increases to pay for it - on pharmaceutical companies who sell drugs to state-run or subsidized doctors. Not physicians, not anyone else.

The bloated contracts they will set up will surely cover the tax and funnel some of it back into the system.
