I have a grating ambivalence about the Latin Mass.
On the one hand, I left the Catholic Church behind a long time ago, but it's like emigrating. Even though you can't go home again, the culture stays with one. So I don't even go to regular Mass.
On the other hand, the Latin Mass as a piece of performance art can be magnificent. Leonard Bernstein knew this. But the Catholics about whom you speak are not attending Mass for the artistic value.
