During the Big Bang, there were no atoms nor conditions for atoms to exist.

A God in such a place? How could he exist there and even if he did, how could he later get involved in a much colder universe full of molecules ?

Science is limited because we're limited ourselves! No problem with that. No problem with just being part of a universe where nothing is forever !
