Obviously, we haven't see any catastrophic warming in the last hundreds years, nor is likely we will see any catastrophic warming in the future.
And if instead of current global temperature, it were 1 C warmer, this would a more "normal" global temperature and would better in general for humans and better in general for all other life on this planet.
Now, perhaps pwokenyaw has never claimed there was or will be catastrophic warming, but there are many people who have made this claim and school children have been indoctrinated to think this a reasonable or likely possibility.
