First, the word you are looking for is anthropogenic, not anthropomorphic. The former means man-made while the latter means man-like.
Second, trying to hog-tie global warming skeptics to conservatism is a lost cause. I don't like labels, but I'm no Conservative, and I'm here to tell you that, as far as I'm concerned, Anthropogenic Global Warming is a crock.
Finally, you seem to overlook the obvious: it was the media who were at the front of the parade beating the drums of war, and it is the media now who are trumpeting AGW.
