That chart doesn't make sense.

According the the Gaia cult, we need to stop emitting CO2 in order to save the planet. The chart seems to say that for most of Earth's history temperatures and CO2 levels have both been significantly higher, and yet, the Earth is still here. What saved the Earth from being destroyed before now? =)
