if TB believes something it must be true and everyone else is wrong.

We're all big boys here, we've been around a while, we've gone to school, we're all survivors, some of us have even managed to get a few things we're proud of accomplished during our lifetimes. Do you think we're incapable of making our own decisions and having our own opinions? And do you really expect us to trust your opinions over ours?

And don't try that "argument by authority fallacy" dodge on me, if I were the only liberal in the world, I still wouldn't accept conservative ideas; but at least I'd have more sense than to expect them all to roll over and play dead just because I told them they were mistaken. I might just approach them with a little humility when I challenged them.

You're just going to have to get used to the fact that there are people in this world who have enough confidence in their own intellectual integrity and moral sense to not simply accept everything you tell them. In fact, they might even have very good reasons for viewing your ideas with some suspicion. After years of hammering pointlessly on this crowd you should have learned that by now. You might get a point or two across, or force a concession or a "maybe" from someone every now and then; but we are under no obligation to simply accept what you're saying. Especially when your message is delivered in a tone like God yelling through a foghorn.
