Here's a newsflash for ya, DUH-Tech0: People don't come to the HabitableZone to be your punching bag. The only real difference between your post above and the majority of your posts on the Current Events board is the venue. Notice that only a few of the left-leaners bit?
The place is at its least interesting when you and some of the other hardcore Rightists work on your long-running collaborative novel, "The Moral and Intellectual Shortcomings of Liberals", a.k.a. "The Current Vents Board Circle-Jerk". You might find these circular self-congratulatory fantasies gratifying, in a sad compensatory way, but normal people would much rather actually discuss the issues of the day.
Even Robert has in the past indicated that he takes sabbaticals from the conservative rhetoric.
More precisely, the graph of my participation pretty much is the opposite of the ups and downs of The Current Vents Board Circle-Jerk. I stay away out of ennui and boredom when you're making up those stories about Liberals, and return when there's something worth discussing.
There's something faintly creepy, a kind of voyeurism, about observing other people's fantasies. Don't you realize that you wear your heart on your sleeve, Tick1? These fantastickal anti-Liberal diatribes tell me a lot more than I really want to know about how your mind works...and nothing at all about Liberals.
So you found this thread purging, eh? A revealing choice of words. Time to refill your enema bottle with the bile of prejudice and cluelessness so you can get to work on your reply!
