Just wanted to remind you SDAI (before you start patting yourself and GWB on the back) that the war is not over. So don't go jumping up and down and showing us all those nice photo ops.
CNN is doing a good enough job. What we don't see are the piles of corpses, the screams of the wounded, the tears and the terror of the abandoned and the miles and miles of burnt-out rubble.
And for you cool conservative dudes who feel somehow we've "won", just because we didn't get gased or nuked or chem-bombed on our way in, there is still MORE to come.
It's unassailable that the US Airforce (with all their fire power), our Marines and Special Forces can GET to Bagdad, and tear it up, but winning the hearts and minds of all the Iraqis and rebuilding Iraq might be a little more challenging. Look at the problems they're having in Afganistan where aid workers can't get the supplies in and are beginning to think it's a "hopeless situation".
(Liberals say....oh we bombed the shit out that camel country in the name of looking for Master Terrorist Osama bin Laden......but where is he? The Taliban are re-grouping...hey! We let them GO!! But the opium pipeline is open again and business is GOOD. Why, I saw that Master Terrorist Richard Armitage on TV a couple of nights ago, rubbing his hands with GLEE together! Not to mention we got RID of all that old military hardware. What a great place to dump aging 500 lb. bombs!)
Comments from you like this, just make me want to throw up:
>"There's an ominous sound of thunder coming from the American right - and the whole world knows it has been shown up by that "dumb cowboy."
You come across as if you're giving us a sermon, TECH-1.
If you'd just get off that high horse and be REASONABLE.
It's your "guilded cage, ivory-tower, white glove, sanctimonious conservative rhetoric pile higher and higher"on us shit that is just so hard to take.
But then again, Germans are known for forcing their opinions on others, with no concern for participation and rationalization. So here, you fit the bill perfectly.
