When confronted with difference of opinion & when further dialogue is not wanted just state that the person talking to you really is not, but is just somehow parroting talking points and likes to see their posts in print.

It's a duck and cover tactic.

About the only poster I can think of that I have been unkind to is Bowser. I let his support of terrorist suicide bombers emotionalize me. But my barbs have been no less than what he was dishing out.

If criticizing liberalism, socialism or communism gets everyone to feel they are being used as a punching bag ...well sorry. That would be about the same as if I got personally upset about the endless rhetoric of "racist, selfish conservative" bashing some posters here engage in, you among them.

My observation was entirely valid and it strikes a definite chord. As we can see I underestimated the actual count.

So conservative posts and viewpoints are just "compensatory fantasies?"

I suppose you must. For I cannot imagine what person could be exposed to the voluminous postings here which explain the theoretical and practical failures of the liberal philosophy and remain static.

You're right...this is just another self-congratulatory compensatory fantasy post.
