Maybe we should lighten up a bit...
Things aren't going well for the Left right now in Iraq. The depravity of Saddam is already documented. If hard evidence of WMD are discovered, or links to Al Quaeda...well...
All they need now is for the stock market to skyrocket.
I remember a lot of leftists* had trouble with the wave of patriotism that followed 9-11. Having thrived in social circles where the term "flag waver" was a foul insult, they had a little trouble adapting when their views didn't go over as well as they might have under other circumstances.
Maybe I'll pull back from politics for a bit. Well, at least somewhat.
