As a "leftie"

I have tried to avoid political discussion. The left and the right tries to paint the opposition with the broad brush of extremists.... left says "you are just like pat buchanan, or a nazi" the right says "you are just another socialist". I have only left this site due to circumstances beyond my control- I always like the space board

The fact is in emotionally charged subjects such as politics no minds are going to be changed here...I do not remember one example of someone saying..."oh you are right I shall change my entire political world view...."

political discussions here are just for the purpose of venting- I have vented my feelings often enough but try to avoid it....

We are ALL full of sound and fury, accomplishing nothing...
