The refusal of the DNC to even acknowledge that choices must be made on order to save SS was a very childish position, imho.
Kerry refused to consider changing retirement age, SS tax, or any of the other limited range of possibilities that exist.
Will the solution to reforming SS be perfect? No.
No program ever is.
But doing nothing while a program whithers under the weight of demographic reality is probably the worst option.
