I'm talking about people who currently have way too much influence on the Democratic Party and much of our culture.

No, you're talking about fringers who you think have way too much influence on the Democratic party and culture.
I know they don't and are on the fringe for a reason. You on the other hand could find evidence for leftist thinking on the blurb on a box of Rice Krispies.

Do I continually bring up freepers, right wing evangelists and their ilk and claiming they exert undue influence on the GOP and red-state mentality? No, because if I did, I'd be accused of stereo-typing or worse, despite any evidence supporting it.

Please try to keep that straight.
