Well, I guess that's the main disagreement then.
You think fringe people like Michael Moore--to use the most obvious example, but by no means the only one--have no major input into how the modern Democratic Party does things.
On the other hand, I believe, based on the evidence of my own eyes, the statements on the Democratic Party's own web site, the media's analysis, and many other items, that they do.
In this past election the far left was in the drivers' seat for the Democratic Party. Hell, the party came this close to nominating Dean.
I suppose we just have to leave it there.
