Nuclear power can run your car

Just not directly.

Nuclear power can be used to power an electric grid in the streets which can keep your electric car's battaries charged.

Nuclear power could also provide the power requirements to produce hydrogen, which can then be pumped into your car. Although I don't believe its an economical solution at least for now.
