Where of course we all go back to living to about the age of 30 and die from exposure, untreated diseases, wild animals, and the capricious whims of the gods. Worse, we won't find out who wins on The Real Gilligan's Island!
Of course it will certainly help to cull the human population explosion - 6.5 billion and counting.

I would like to see more mass transit, including a national monorail system, as they actually considered back in the 1950s before the car and oil companies convinced Eisenhower to go with a road system to keep those cars and trucks and gasoline flowing.
Of course they did also consider a nuclear-powered car at the time. Think I'm kidding? Check here:

Not that it will necessarily reduce our population, but when too many beings occupy a finite space, it usually means that it is time for some of them to find new territory before things get nasty - thus, space colonization.
Or we all download our minds into machine bodies, become one giant massive AI, and turn the solar system into a Dyson Shell.

- And some more votes...
- Forget Yucca Mountain: use the former nuke test sites for radioactive waste storage!
- re: advanatge nuclear power
- Sierra Club
- I'm not convinced that nuclear fusion will reduce the amount of radioactive waste produced versus conventional fission powerplants
- Even a deuterium-tritium fusion reaction produces much less radioactive material than fission
- add: when the oil runs out, nuclear power won't keep your car running
- I had a similair voew toward Greenpeace at one time.
