I'm not convinced that carbon emissions will lead to global warming

This is not planet venus. Earth's atmosphere is NOT 96 percent carbon dioxide. Earth's atmosphere is something like 0.03 percent carbon dioxide. We've hardly got a runaway greenhouse effect going here. Even if the Kyoto freaks are right and we somehow manage to increase the average global temperature by 2 degrees in the next 100 years, who cares? I'm shaking in my boots. Right now the difference between daytime and nighttime temperatures is nearly 20 degrees Celcius.

These experts and government officials seem to be unable to figure out that global warming is not going to be their biggest problem in the next 100 years. That the energy gap that they are facing has nothing to do with the proportion of energy that comes from fossil fuels versus nuclear; and that the energy sources for electricity and fuel are NOT the same.

How much fossil fuel do they think is going to be available in 100 years? 50 years? How big is that energy gap now?
