I'm hearing that there were a lot of questionable "Eminent Domain" actions that are now proceeding because of this decision.
One involving a bunch of sorry Mobile Home Park Tenants... Soon to be evicted via Eminent Domain to make way for a much higher tax paying supermarket.
I expect to hear a lot more of this in the near future as more and more developers realize the wonderful tool that they have been handed.
Hey, maybe this is a good thing. We can tear down all those old decaying inner city houses and build warehouses, chemical factories, and high-scale mixed-use apartment/office complexes in their place.
Move the poor out of the city. Bring the rich in.
