no income is lost............

In a condemnation three approaches to value are utilized: 1. a cost or summation value approach; 2. a market data analysis approach; and 3. an economic or stream of income analysis approach.

If the properties generate a stream of income, that income is capitalized into a value indication. If the value is based on an anticipated stream of income the present worth of that future income becomes the measurement of value and therefor, no income is lost.

I don't know Ct. law, however, I do know that in Florida the property owner receives full fair market value for property in condemnation. This guarantee is written into our state constitution.
