I didn't say it was easy. I said it was simple.
Changing a law is, in fact, difficult to do, but quite possible.
It requires effort, planning, more effort, determination, a willingness to work with people outside of one's in-group, and more effort. And time. But it's worthwhile because it's the only thorough solution to a bad law.
