Current Events » in reply to OK, so it includes military casualties. And it's not new information either.

We went over a lot of this a long time ago.

Do you have any idea what my opinion on regime change is? I personally think we should have done something nasty to Syria two years ago, since they've been actively supporting the enemy in Iraq.

I do know what the results of the usual U.N./liberal "hold talks until it's time for cocktails" approach has been in Africa, Iran, and a lot of other places. I've noticed that nobody in the U.N. loses their cushy position just because some country goes up in flames, or thousands of people are massacred.

What would have been sufficient evidence of "clear and present danger?" What form would this evidence have taken?

Iran is sitting there right now, ruled by a lunatic, building an atomic bomb in front of God and everybody while the U.N. yammers, drools, and holds meetings. Apparently the bar for "clear and present danger" must be higher than that.

The whole damn POINT Bush made was that we couldn't wait until the threat was "imminent."
